The survey asked participants to record their current and highest ranks in both standard 4-player and Sanma 3p.
For the data in this section some anons managed to enter their current rank as higher than their highest ever rank - in these cases I have given them the benefit of doubt and bumped up their highest rank to match.
This was a required question in the survey when it shouldn't've been, so some anons have spoilt their answers, which is why I have removed a few severe outliers in the 4-Player results (Highest rank Celestial, current rank Adept 1 for example).
4-Player Current vs Highest rank
The chart shows the distribution of ranks in 4-player and the rank compared with their highest. Points on the y = x line means that their current rank is the same than their highest.
In general the majority of anons are within 2 ranks of their highest rank.

As expected the most common rank in /mjg/ nowadays is Master 1, which goes to show how scary the Jade room is to /mjg/
3-Player (Sanma) Current vs Highest rank
I thought this would be funny to ask as I know /mjg/ isn't very interested in sanma. Here are the current vs highest ranks for sanma.
It should come to no surprise that a huge bulk of players are Novice 1. There's a similar pattern to the 4-player graph where most people are the same rank as their highest.
No ranks were removed from this data.

4-player vs 3-player ranks
Using both 4-player and 3-player ranking data we can try to find if there's any correlation between being a high rank in yonma vs sanma. For this I used the raw data that users inputted for their current rank, here is the resulting chart.
For a point on this scatter, the higher rank in yonma a point is, the more red it gets. On the other hand, the higher rank in sanma a point is, the more blue it gets.
It clearly shows that the majority of /mjg/ have a higher rank in yonma vs sanma, and shows very little correlation between the ranks. This is further evidence that /mjg/ doesn't give a shit about ranked sanma much at all.
Rank vs VIP level
As we have the data for VIP levels, I thought it'd be fun to see if there was any correlation at all between VIP level and peoples 4-player rank. I threw in the raw data and made the following chart:
